(iii) If the job rules say you need a diploma or degree, it should be one of these:
a. A diploma obtained after finishing SSLC or Higher Secondary (like a 3-year diploma) or after 10+2+2 (Lateral Entry).
b. A degree obtained after finishing SSLC and Higher Secondary (like 10+2+3 or more) as explained in Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.
(iv) You need to have one of these qualifications:

• A college degree and a 2-year Elementary Education diploma, or
• A college degree and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), or
• Higher Secondary and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
• Higher Secondary and a 4-Year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed., or
• A college degree and B.Ed. (Special Education) after finishing SSLC, Higher Secondary, or its equivalent in different educational patterns, as required by Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. This degree should be from a university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
