Mode of Selection:

  1. The selection process will be based on a merit list, which will be prepared to evaluate the candidates. This selection method aims to identify the most qualified individuals who are genuinely interested in working in Kolkata.
  2. In the event that two applicants achieve the same marks, the candidate who is older in age will be given preference. If their dates of birth are also the same, the applicant who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be considered first. This hierarchical approach ensures fair selection without the need for a written test or viva.
  3. The final selection of applicants will be contingent upon the verification of their original testimonials. This step is crucial to validate the authenticity and accuracy of the candidates’ provided information.
  4. Candidates on the standby list will have the opportunity to join the program if there are any vacancies due to absentees or rejected candidates from the merit list. This ensures that all available positions are filled efficiently.
  5. Offers will be issued strictly in order of merit, giving priority to those with higher rankings on the merit list. This ensures a transparent and merit-based selection process.
  6. The applicants will be informed about the tentative schedule through email communication. It is important for applicants to be prepared to report to the concerned office promptly for document and certificate verification when notified. Being ready at short notice is crucial to ensure a smooth verification process.
