A big fan of Virat Kohli, who had traveled all the way from the USA to Lucknow’s Ekana Sports City Stadium, was very disappointed when Kohli got out without scoring any runs in a 2023 ICC World Cup game against England. Many fans who were watching the game from their homes also felt the same way because they were hoping to see Kohli score his 49th century in One Day Internationals (ODI). They were surprised when Kohli tried to play a bold shot but ended up hitting the ball poorly, and it was an easy catch for Ben Stokes.
