According to the RTE Act-2009 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 (these are rules for schools), all schools under the Directorate of Education have to follow this and have at least 220 days of school each year.

The schedule says that students will have a break during the summer, but teachers will still be working. There will be parent-teacher meetings, extra classes, and exams even during the summer break. The notice also says that high schools and senior secondary schools will follow a special holiday calendar called the ‘Manak Holiday Calendar,’ which will be shared soon.
